Cocktails

Butterfly Absinthe makes perfect classic and modern cocktails. Below is a list of our favorites:

Butterfly Kiss (signature cocktail):

1 oz Butterfly Absinthe
1/2 oz Cream
1 oz Honey Syrup (see recipe below)

Shake in a cocktail shaker over ice and serve in a cocktail glass. Garnish with a sprig of mint.

Honey Syrup:

1 cup Honey
1 cup Hot Water

In a jar, combine the honey with the hot water. Close tightly and shake
the mixture well. You can refrigerate and keep the honey syrup for up to 1 month).

Flutterby Lassi

3 dill sprigs
2cm piece cucumber, peeled
35 ml Butterfly Boston absinthe
10ml lime juice
20ml gomme
50ml yoghurt
Method

Muddle the dill and cucumber and pour all the other ingredients into shaker.

Shake and double strain.

Serve in a port wine glass and garnish with a scrolled skin of cucumber and a sprig of dill.

Absinthe Special Cocktail 

2 oz Butterfly Absinthe
1/2 oz Gin
1/2 oz Gomme syrup
1 dash Orange Bitters
1 dash Angostura Bitters
Shake thoroughly, and strain into cocktail glass.

Atty Cocktail
1 oz Dry Vermouth
1/2 oz Butterfly Absinthe
3 oz Dry Gin
3 dashes Crème de Violette
Shake well and strain into cocktail glass.

Chrysanthemum Cocktail
1 oz Butterfly Absinthe
2 oz Benedictine
2 oz Dry Vermouth
Shake well and strain into cocktail glass. Squeeze orange peel on top.

Corpse Reviver No. 2
1 oz Fresh Squezzed Lemon Juice
1 oz Lillet
1 oz Cointreau
1 oz Dry Gin
1/2 oz Butterfly Absinthe
Shake well and strain into cocktail glass.
